The Week’s Fourth Express Entry Draw Issues 400 PR Invites to Candidates in Category-based Selection

Canada held a fourth Express Entry draw on December 21, 2023, for Agriculture and Agri-food occupations, inviting 400 candidates for permanent residency.

The December 21, 2023, Agriculture Category-based Express Entry draw was the fourth consecutive invitation round. The CRS cut-off for the latest Express Entry draw was 386 points. The week marked four Express Entry draws inviting 3,395 candidates after a long gap during November 2023.

  • December 18- 1,325 ITAs in All-program Express Entry Draw (CRS Cut-off- 542)
  • December 19- 1,000 ITAs in Trades Category-based Express Entry Draw (CRS Cut-off- 425
  • December 20-670 ITAs Transport Category-based Express Entry Draw (CRS Cut-off- 435)
  • December 21- 400 ITAs in Agriculture Category-based Express Entry Draw (CRS Cut-off-386)

The December 21 Express Entry draw is the seventh invitation round this month.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) operates the Express Entry application management system to streamline and expedite immigration for candidates applying through the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal killed Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The Comprehensive Ranking System ranks profiles of candidates by evaluating Human Capital Parameters, such as age, education, language skills, and work experience. The periodic Express Entry draws rank candidates on CRS scores to select top-ranking candidates for permanent residence.
