Manitoba and Prince Edward Island held their respective Provincial Nominee Program draws recently.
Manitoba provincial immigration
The province of Manitoba held a draw for its Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program to invite a total of 518 candidates. The Invitations to Apply (ITAs) included:
- 177 ITAs under Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream (minimum score 616)
- 143 ITAs under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream (minimum score 703)
- 198 ITAs under International Education stream
The Manitoba PNP draw issued ITAs to 125 candidates having their profiles in the Express Entry system. The NOC 2016 will apply to all Expressions of Interest before Nov 16. Applicants sending EOI after Nov 16 will have an assessment under NOC 2021.
Prince Edward Island provincial immigration
Prince Edward Island held its PNP draw on Nov 17. The province issued Invitations to Apply to 149 candidates.
The breakup of the ITAs is as follows:
- Labor and Express Entry candidates- 141 ITAs
- Business Work Permit Entrepreneur streams- 8 ITAs
Prince Edward Island assigns scores by assessing the Expression of Interest profiles and invites the top-ranking candidates to apply for federal immigration. Express Entry candidates should submit separate EOI applications for receiving PEI provincial nomination.
On Nov 3, 2022, Prince Edward Island held a PNP draw for the Labor and Express Entry stream, issuing 39 Invitations to Apply.
