The Ministry of Immigration Francization and Integration (MIFI) published results of the April 17 Quebec RSWP Draw recently.
Quebec targeted eligible candidates with relevant work experience and education, besides standard eligibility criteria for the RSWP stream of Quebec immigration. It was the first draw under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program to invite candidates with a valid job offer across the in-demand occupations. The RSWP draw required candidates to have a job offer outside the Montreal Metropolitan Community. The minimum CRS score to qualify for the invitation was 598 points.
The selected candidates can apply for Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). Quebec considers candidates with active profiles in the immigration portal of the government. The profile includes the candidate’s relevant information, such as language proficiency, age, education, and work experience.
The Ministry of Immigration Francization and Integration (MIFI) evaluates the candidates, considering the Quebec points calculator. It uses the grid criteria to determine a candidate’s eligibility for the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP).
Quebec holds regular draws to invite candidates to apply for Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). It enables the candidates to apply for permanent residence at the federal level. Candidates must monitor their profiles and update changes in their qualifications to stay competitive as the selection for invitation involves ranking.
