British Columbia held its PNP draw on May 16 to invite 202 skilled workers under different categories.
The latest British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Draw (BC PNP) draw focused on general applicants under education and healthcare occupations besides IT professionals. The May 16, 2023, BC PNP draw targeted candidates in Express Entry and Skills Immigration programs. The 202 Invitations To Apply (ITAs) will enable candidates to apply for permanent residency.
The draw for BC PNP Tech occupations invited 162 candidates. The minimum CRS scores for various streams were as follows:
- Skilled Worker stream – 104 points
- Skilled Worker Express Entry BC stream – 104 points
- Skilled Immigration International Graduate – 107 points
- Express Entry BC International Graduate – 107 points
- Entry Level and Semi-skilled – 85 points
The Targeted Draw of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) invited 29 candidates in the Early Childhood Educators and Assistants category. The CRS cut-off for the draw was 60 points.
British Columbia held a targeted draw for healthcare occupations under various categories, inviting 11 candidates with minimum CRS scores of 60 points. Candidates receiving Invitations to Apply (ITAs) should apply for nomination for permanent residency within 30 days. Candidates meeting the permanent residency criteria have better chances of becoming permanent residents after receiving invitations to apply.
