Quebec announced the results of the latest Arrima Draw held on August 10.
The August 10 Arrima draw selected 1,384 candidates with a minimum score of 591 under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QRSWP). Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) declared the results on August 16.
Candidates with Level 7 or higher Oral French language proficiency were eligible for the Arrima draw. The cut-off score of 591 for the latest Arrima draw was five points lower than the July 20 Arrima draw.
Quebec has the autonomy to create a separate immigration policy to meet its social and economic goals. It operates a distinct immigration process that manages immigration applications through the Arrima platform, similar to the federal Express Entry system.
Aspiring immigrants applying under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSP) create their Arrima profile to receive Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). The CSQ helps them apply for permanent residence to the federal immigration authorities.
Regular Skilled Worker Program is the most sought-after immigration pathway among individuals planning to settle in Quebec. They apply for the Quebec RSWP through Arrima portal, which ranks applicants on education, French language proficiency, age, and work experience. Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program mandates signing a Declaration of Interest (DI) to show their interest in working and settling in Quebec. Candidates can apply for permanent residence after receiving an Invitation to Apply through the Arrima draws.
