Quebec Invites 1,220 Candidates Under Regular Skilled Worker Program

Quebec conducted the Arrima draw on October 26, 2023, inviting 1,220 candidates to apply for permanent residence.

The fifteenth Arrima draw on October 26, 2023, required candidates to score a minimum of 465 points to become eligible for receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residence. The candidates must have a minimum language proficiency level of 7 in French.

There were two categories of Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QRSWP) targeting 53 NOCs. The draw targeted the most in-demand occupations, such as:

  • Teachers
  • Registered nurses
  • Civil engineers
  • Trade occupations

Quebec operates its Regular Skilled Worker Program stream to attract overseas skilled workers aspiring to work and settle in Quebec.

Document submission

The Arrima draw issues the Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) by evaluating profiles of candidates applying to the QRSWP. Successful candidates become permanent residents by applying to the federal immigration authorities.

The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program mandates candidates to have a job offer, proven skilled work experience in relevant occupations, education, and French language proficiency.
