The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program sent invitations to 204 candidates in a single draw. The recent PEI PNP draw invited the highest number of candidates since Oct 21.
The draw sent invitations to 194 candidates under Labor and Express Entry category. Ten candidates under the Business Work Permit category received invitations to apply. The latest PEI PNP draw invited candidates with a minimum CRS score of 72 and above. There is a reduction in the minimum points requirement by 13 points in comparison with the earlier draw.
Prince Edward Island holds the PNP draw every month and declares the results by the 20th of the month. The last draw for Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program was in September 2022, inviting 147 candidates. The number of candidates receiving invitations under PEI PNP in 2022 is 1,463 up till now.
Express Entry Category of PEI PNP
Candidate should have an Express Entry Profile under Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skills Trade (FST), or Canadian Experience Class with a valid EOI (Expression of Interest) profile to be eligible for the Express Entry category.
Labor Impact Category of PEI PNP
To be eligible under the Labor Impact Category, the candidate should have a valid job offer from a local employer and a valid Expression of Interest Profile. The EOI profile should be under International Graduate, Critical Worker, or Skilled Worker stream.
Business Impact category of PEI PNP
Foreign entrepreneurs willing to launch a business in the province of Prince Edward Island can benefit from the PEI PNP Business Impact category. The minimum threshold was 60 points under the Work Permit stream for the Business Impact category.
