Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
The OINP benefits employers in Ontario by fill-up vacant job positions with international students, professionals, skilled workers, and managers. The immigration program helps Ontario meet its labor market needs. The OINP immigration involves two steps: nomination and application for permanent residence to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program manages the following streams:
- Employer job offer categories, including Foreign Workers, International Students, and In-demand Skills.
- Human Capital category – International students, including Masters and Ph.D. graduates, Express Entry streams of skilled trades, French-speaking skilled workers, and Human Capital Priorities
- Business category – For applicants with a proven business background
The Expression of Interest system supports the immigration of candidates who are International students with Master’s or Ph.D. qualifications besides all three streams of Employer Job offers.
Ontario issues Notifications of Interest to the Express Entry candidates, allowing them to apply through a relevant targeted stream.
