Ontario’s Latest Draw Invites 417 Candidates under the French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream

The targeted draws of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 417 candidates through its French-speaking Skilled Worker stream on June 5, 2023.

The OINP draw was the year’s second draw targeting French-speaking Skilled Workers. Ontario issues Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to selected candidates inviting them to apply for provincial nomination. The weekly OINP draws aim to meet Ontario’s economic and labor market needs.

Ontario considered Express Entry profiles active between June 5, 2022, and June 5, 2023, for the latest draw. The eligible candidates required minimum French language proficiency of CLB level 7, besides English language proficiency of CLB level 6 and above.

The first draw on June 5, 2023, targeted candidates eligible for the French-speaking Skilled Worker stream. It issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to 278 candidates with work experience in health, finance, and education occupations. The CRS score range for the draw was between 312 and 487 points.

The second draw targeted candidates from tech, trades, and other priority occupations with active Express Entry profiles and relevant work experience. The draw issued 139 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates with CRS scores ranging between 348 and 487 points.

Candidates qualifying for Ontario’s Express Entry stream and receiving a Notification of Interest should apply for nomination within 45 days.
