Ontario Invites 1,052 Candidates under Human Capital Priorities Stream for Healthcare Occupations

The recent invitation rounds of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 1,052 candidates to apply for permanent residence on November 30, 2023.

The new OINP draw focused on candidates with active Express Entry profiles that matched Ontario’s labor market needs. The Human Capital Priorities stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited candidates with CRS scores between 404 and 430 points. The OINP draw targeted 42 healthcare occupations.

Receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) nominates the candidate to apply for permanent residence status in the province. These candidates must apply for PR status within fourteen days of receiving an ITA. Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program invited 15,43 candidates through regular invitation rounds in 2023 so far.

Ontario operates several Express Entry-aligned streams. These are:

  • Skilled Worker (French Speaking)
  • Human Capital Priorities
  • Skilled Trades
  • Masters graduates 
  • Ph.D. graduates
