The year’s second OINP draw targeted candidates having active Express Entry profiles with CRS scores between 317 and 469 points. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program Express Entry draws on January 18, 2023, considered candidates meeting eligibility requirements under the OINP French Speaking Skilled Worker stream.
Ontario held the first OINP draw for the Skilled Trades stream, targeting 49 in-demand occupations on January 11, 2024, inviting 2,552 candidates with CRS scores ranging from 350 to 424 points.
Express Entry candidates qualifying for Canadian Experience Class or Federal Skilled Worker pathways are eligible for consideration for Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker invitation rounds. These are a few qualifying criteria:
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 7 or higher showing French language proficiency
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 6 or higher showing English language proficiency
- Adequate settlement funds
- Current employment, education, or job offer from the Ontario employer
Ontario operates Human Capital streams under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program to nominate eligible candidates for provincial immigration, including the Ontario French-speaking Skilled Worker stream. It targets candidates with active Express Entry profiles having English and French language skills.
