CRS drops in the latest PNP Draws by Ontario and British Columbia for provincial nominations
OINP
The latest Tech draw of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on December 19 issued targeted Notifications of Interest (NOI) to 936 candidates. The OINP draw focused on candidates under the Human Capital Priorities stream. The CRS scores ranged between 484 and 490, showing a drop.
The candidates receiving Notifications of Interest in the December 19 OINP draw must prove work experience to establish eligibility under relevant NOC codes. The Human Capital Priorities stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program issued a total of 4012 Notifications of Interest in 2022.
BC PNP
British Columbia conducted two separate draws on December 20, 2022, inviting a total of 173 candidates to submit applications for permanent residence. The two rounds of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draws included the Tech draw and Targeted draw.
- Tech draw – British Columbia PNP Tech Draw selected 153 candidates having minimum CRS scores of 90 and issued Invitations to Apply for permanent residence. The selected candidates comprised skilled workers and international graduates, including the EEBC option.
- Targeted draw – The Targeted Draw of BC PNP issued invitations to 20 candidates comprising 15 candidates from NOC 42202 for Childcare (Early Childhood Educators and Assistants) and five candidates from the Healthcare occupations. The minimum CRS score was 60 for the targeted draw of skilled workers and international graduates (with the EEBC option).
N.B. – The draw on December 20 marks the last BC PNP draw of 2022, as there will be no BC PNP draw in the week of December 26. British Columbia will resume issuing new invitations beginning January 2023.
