New British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Draw Invites 217 Candidates for Permanent Residency

British Columbia held a new skills immigration draw on February 21, 2024, to issue 217 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residence.

The latest provincial immigration draw by British Columbia was the seventh round of invitations of the year. British Columbia invited international graduates and skilled workers through the provincial nominee draw on February 21, 2024.

The details of the latest BC PNP draw are:

  • General BC PNP draw – 69 ITAs (Minimum score- 99 points)
  • Construction occupations – 32 ITAs (Minimum score 75 points)
  • Healthcare occupations – 41 ITAs (Minimum score- 60 points)
  • Childcare occupations – 70 ITAs (Minimum score- 60 points)
  • Veterinary occupations – 5 ITAs (Minimum score- 60 points)

Candidates receiving Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the new BC PNP draw must submit a correct application for permanent residence through the BC PNP online portal. They get thirty days from the date of ITA to submit the PR application.  

A job offer from a British Columbia employer under a skilled occupation is an important criterion to become a permanent resident through the skills immigration program of British Columbia. There are weekly rounds of invitations to select the top-ranking candidates for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
