Manitoba held a new invitation round of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on October 5, 2023, issuing 542 LAAs. The MPNP draw also invited 140 candidates with active Express Entry profiles.
The latest MPNP draws targeted candidates under three popular streams:
- Skilled Worker Overseas
- International Education
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draws issued Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to top-scoring candidates in the first invitation round of the month.
MPNP Skilled Worker Overseas
Manitoba issued 41 Letters of Advice to Apply to candidates eligible for the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. The cut-off score for the draw was 601 points.
MPNP International Education
The draw selected sixty candidates eligible under the MPNP International Education stream.
MPNP Skilled Worker in Manitoba
Skilled Worker in Manitoba is a sought-after stream of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program by candidates currently employed in Manitoba. The Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream targets candidates with high-demand skills to address the existing labor needs of the province.
The October 5, 2023, draw issued 219 Letters of Advice to Apply to eligible candidates with a minimum ranking score of 610 points and above. The draw invited candidates in the following high-demand occupations:
- General trades
- Technical trades, transportation officers, and controllers
- Transport drivers, laborers, operators, and helpers
The MPNP draw under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream also selected 222 profiles, having a minimum score of 629 in all other occupations except those mentioned above.
