Manitoba conducted its latest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Draw on January 25, selecting 275 candidates for provincial nomination.
The new MPNP draws considered Expression of Interest profiles from all streams of Manitoba’s provincial nominee program. These include Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, and International Education Stream. The MPNP draw selected 29 candidates with active Express Entry profiles.
The invitation round for Skilled Worker Overseas selected 41 Expression of Interest profiles of candidates with the CRS cut-off of 713 points. Candidates receiving a direct invitation under a Strategic Recruitment initiative and a valid Express Entry profile are eligible under the Skilled Worker Overseas stream of MPNP.
The draw for Skilled Worker in Manitoba selected 156 candidates to receive Letters of Advice to Apply with a minimum ranking score of 772 points or above. The stream mandates the completion of post-secondary education by the applicant or their spouse.
Manitoba invited 78 candidates by issuing Letters of Advice to Apply for permanent residence to candidates meeting the qualifying criteria for the International Education stream of MPNP.
Graduating from Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) in Manitoba allows international students to apply for three different streams under Manitoba’s International Education Stream. These are:
- Career Employment Pathway
- International Student Entrepreneur Pilot
- Graduate Internship Pathway
Manitoba holds weekly invitation rounds to selected eligible candidates across three MPNP streams. The frequency of the MPNP draw may change because of the application inventory and size of the draws.
