The February 9 Draw of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 308 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to eligible candidates under various streams of provincial immigration.
The Expression of Interest Draw by Manitoba issued invites to candidates under Skilled Workers, Manitoba, International Education, and Skilled Workers Overseas streams. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) selected 33 candidates with active Express Entry profiles for Letters of Advice to Apply.
The details are as follows:
- 221 LAAs- Skilled Workers in Manitoba (CRS threshold – 720)
- 55 LAAs- International Education Stream
- 32 LAAs- Skilled Workers Overseas (CRS threshold – 709)
The recent EOI draw of Manitoba showed a drop in CRS scores over the last draw on January 26. Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program manages five streams for skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas, international graduates, business investors, and community-driven immigration.
Submission of an Expression of Interest is mandatory to participate in Manitoba’s Provincial Nominee Program draw. The program assigns EOI ranks to candidates by assessing their profiles. Candidates can submit the final MPNP application after receiving the Letter of Advice to Apply following the draw. Manitoba is a pioneer in the provincial immigration program of Canada. The province became the first to launch the Provincial Nominee Program in 1998. Manitoba conducts Expression of Interest Draws with regular frequency to sustain its economy and demography.
