Manitoba Invites 623 Candidates for Permanent Residence through the Recent Invitation Rounds

Manitoba conducted the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draws on August 24, issuing Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under all categories.

Targeted Occupations- Skilled Workers in Manitoba 

The draw for Skilled Workers in Manitoba selected 256 profiles with a minimum cut-off score of 612 and above, targeting the following occupations:

  • General trades
  • Mail and message distribution, transport equipment operators, and laborers
  • Helpers and laborers, transport drivers, and operators

All Occupations- Skilled Workers in Manitoba

Skilled Workers in Manitoba (All Occupations) draw considers all occupations other than those selected in the draw for Targeted Occupations. The All-occupations draw issued 250 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates having a minimum cut-off score of 646 and above.

Skilled Workers Overseas

Manitoba Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, under the strategic recruitment drive of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), sent 54 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). The CRS cut-off for the draw was 724 points.

International Education Stream 

The International Education Stream of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program selected 63 candidates who graduated from the designated colleges and universities in Manitoba province.  

About the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

MPNP provides several immigration pathways to individuals aspiring to become permanent residents and settle in Manitoba. Manitoba enables recent graduates, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector to benefit from its provincial nominee program. The following streams of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program are available for the eligible candidates:

  • International Education Stream
  • Business Investor Stream
  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream
  • Skilled Workers Overseas Stream

Manitoba attracts candidates who have employment experience in In-demand Occupations. Candidates with work experience in these occupations have better prospects of receiving nominations through relevant MPNP streams.
