IRCC granted permanent residency status to 125,000 individuals in 2022 through TR to PR pathways, according to a recent report by Statistics Canada.
Eligible candidates holding work permits under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), International Mobility Program (IMP), and Study Permits benefitted from permanent residency transitions.
- International Mobility Program – 97,665 candidates
- Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) – 7,555 candidates
- Study Permit holders – 19,730 candidates
