Canada Holds a New PNP-only Express Entry Round of Invitations

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada held a PNP Specific Express Entry Draw, inviting 1,548 candidates to apply for Permanent Residency.

The latest PNP-only Express Entry draw required a minimum CRS score of 776 points. IRCC held the last PNP-only Express Entry draw in May 2023. The minimum CRS-score requirement for the draw was 691 points.

PNP-only Express Entry draws are program-specific rounds of invitations targeting profiles in the Express Entry pool eligible for Provincial Nominee Programs.

IRCC also conducts General Rounds of Invitations to select top-ranking candidates in the Express Entry pool eligible for one of three economic immigration pathways. These are the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).

The Category-based Express Entry draws target profiles in specific categories such as Healthcare, Transportation, STEM, Agriculture, Agri-food, and Trades. IRCC also conducts Express Entry draws to invite French-speaking candidates.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducts various Express Entry draws every two weeks, approximately. Each Express Entry draw issues Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates whose profiles have more CRS points than the cut-off requirement. Successful candidates receiving ITAs have 60 days to submit an Application for Permanent Residence (APR).
