British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island Invite Provincial Immigrants in Recent Draws

Various Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws invited over 1536 candidates to apply for permanent residency in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Prince Edward Island.

A provincial nomination accelerates the process of permanent residence. Canadian provinces and territories operate individual PNPs by targeting specific occupations that help them meet their labor market and demographic needs. The Provincial Nominee Programs enable over 105,000 international students, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs to become Canadian permanent residents.

British Columbia

The latest draw of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) on December 13 invited over 212 candidates to apply for permanent residence.

The BC PNP general draw selected 180 candidates in tech occupations to receive invitations. The scores of the selected candidates were between 80 and 104.

The candidates comprised Express Entry, International Graduates, and Skilled Worker categories. The draw selected 13 healthcare workers and 19 early childhood educators, besides other priority occupations.

Manitoba

The Skilled Worker Overseas stream of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued invitations to 1,030 eligible candidates. There were 656 candidates with Express Entry profiles among all candidates receiving invitations to apply.

Ontario

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program targeted specific National Occupation Codes to invite 160 candidates from the French-speaking Skilled Worker category and Express Entry pool. The December 13 draw selected Express Entry candidates with CRS scores between 341 and 490.
