British Columbia Issues 208 Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence in the Latest BC PNP Invitation Round

British Columbia held a Skills and Entrepreneur Immigration Draw under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) on January 16, 2024, issuing 208 invites.

The recent British Columbia Provincial Nominee draws focused on in-demand occupations comprising construction, healthcare, veterinary care, and Tech. These are the details of ITAs and minimum cut-off scores for BC PNP Skills Immigration category draws:

  • Childcare occupations- 53 ITAs (Cut-off score 60 points)
  • Construction occupations- 20 ITAs (Cut-off score 75 points)
  • Tech occupations- 91 ITAs (Cut-off score- 103 points)
  • Veterinary occupations- Less than 5 ITAs (Cut-off score- 60 points)
  • Healthcare occupations- 29 ITAs (Cut-off score 60 points)

The details of the BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration category are:

  • Regional pilot stream- Less than 5 ITAs (Cut-off score 135)
  • Base stream- Less than 5 ITAs (Cut-off score- 116 points)

Applicants meeting labor and economic demands of British Columbia become eligible to receive invitations to apply in regular BC PNP category-specific invitation rounds. They should have an active Express Entry profile during the draw. British Columbia holds weekly invitation rounds to invite candidates to apply for permanent residence.
