British Columbia Invites Candidates to Apply for Permanent Residence in the Month’s Second Draw

The second invitation round of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program on March 12, 2024, issued 192 invites under international graduate and skilled worker streams.

According to the past trend, British Columbia conducts up to 5 BC PNP draws in a month. The province appears to follow the same trend this year. It takes around 15 months to process applications under BC PNP immigration streams.

These are a few details of the latest BC PNP draw on March 12, 2024:

  • Childcare occupations- 54 ITAs (Minimum cut-off score 75)
  • Construction occupations- 30 ITAs (Minimum cut-off score 80)
  • Healthcare occupations- 38 ITAs (Minimum cut-off score 75)
  • Tech occupations category- 65 ITAs (Minimum cut-off score 113)
  • Veterinary occupations category- 5  ITAs (Minimum cut-off score 75)

Successful candidates can expect to receive Invitations to Apply for permanent residence within one or two working days. They have up to 30 days to submit complete PR applications for approval. British Columbia government will send a nomination package to help them apply for permanent residency to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Profiles remain active in the pool for up to 12 months if the candidate fails to receive an Invitation to Apply in the draw.
