British Columbia Commences 2023 PNP Draws by Issuing 211 ITAs

The latest BC PNP draw marks the beginning of the 2023 provincial nomination by inviting 211 candidates to apply for permanent residence.

British Columbia conducted the first BC PNP draw on January 4, 2022, inviting 211 candidates under the Targeted and General categories.

BC NP General Draw

BC PNP General Draw invited 163 candidates and comprised the following streams:

  • Skilled workers (includes EEBC option) – Minimum score 105
  • International graduates (covers EEBC option) – Minimum score 105
  • Entry level – Minimum score of 82
  • Semi-skilled – Minimum score of 82

BC PNP Targeted Draw

BC PNP Targeted Draw invited 48 candidates from the International Graduates and Skilled Workers categories.

  • Childcare (NOC 42202) – Minimum score of 60
  • Healthcare – Minimum score of 60

British Columbia PNP

Candidates aspiring to settle in British Columbia can explore the following streams to receive invitations to apply for permanent residence by demonstrating eligibility.

  • BC Skills Immigration – Candidates with a job offer with experience and skills may apply under the Skills Immigration stream.
  • BC Express Entry – Candidates with active Express Entry profiles can apply for provincial nomination to boost their prospects of getting permanent residence status. 
  • BC Entrepreneur Immigration – The stream helps entrepreneurs aspiring to start or own a business in British Columbia.
  • BC PNP Tech Pilot – The stream helps the province bring candidates to boost the tech sector.  

British Columbia conducts periodic draws to invite candidates through provincial nomination through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). The program boosts the province’s economy by addressing its demographic and labor market needs.
