Alberta, New Brunswick, and Quebec Declare Results of Recent PNP Draws

Three provinces, including Alberta, New Brunswick, and Quebec, shared details of recent rounds of PNP draws.

Provincial nominee programs help Canadian provinces and territories choose candidates who can boost the labor force by integrating into the provincial economy. Canada aims to welcome 105,000 candidates through Provincial Nominee Programs in 2023. Every province receives a specific quota to invite candidates to settle and contribute to economic development.

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program

The Express Entry stream of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program invited 150 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 372. Alberta reviews candidates in the Express Entry pool having Alberta connections and work experience in primary and in-demand occupations to issue invitations to apply. The Express Entry stream of AAIP also selects candidates through the Accelerated Tech Pathways for nominations.

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allowed a 67 percent rise in the PNP allocation to New Brunswick for 2023.
